Thomas obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science from McGill University in 1996 and went on to complete his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1999. He was subsequently called to the Bar and brings a wealth of legal expertise across multiple practice areas. He also holds a diploma in Cybersecurity from Harvard University and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), as well as a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). His expertise has been widely recognised, including professional distinctions and appointments as an expert witness in insurance-related standard of care matters.
